This guernsey was worn by captain Richard Vandenberg during the Hawks pre-season campaign in the NAB Cup. The design of the Hawks pre-season guernsey since 2004 is based on the strip worn back in 1925.

This authentic guernsey is different to ones available to the public as there is a hawks insignia watermarked over the entire guernsey. Hawthorn 85 triumphed over Richmond 75 in the opening round.
