: 1996 AFL Select Hall of Fame Centenary Platinum Set

Only 100 sets released by Select through the MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club) to celebrate the Centenary of AFL/VFL Football in 1996.

Each individually-numbered set comes within a leather-bound folder. All cards contain the platinum logo on them, as opposed to the regular cards available in retail packs. The cards included are the 12 Hall of Fame Legend cards, which are each individually-numbered and stamped on the back. The 22 card Team of the Century set and the 110 card set, each containing the unique logo on them.

By far on the most outstanding cards Select has ever produced which is included in this set is the TRIPLE BROWNLOW, an over-sized card which sits at the front of the folder and features the signatures of all-time legends Dick Reynolds, Bob Skilton and Ian Stewart.

These are very rare and difficult to find, considering at the time of release many dealers broke the sets down and sold singles off, making therefore much less than 100 complete sets exist.

The set comes with a certificate from Grant Copley, owner of Select Australia.
